Presented by Boston’s newest bi-lingual theatre company Teatro Chelsea,
in collaboration with the Apollinaire and the Huntington, Teatro Chelsea presents
Sonia se fue by acclaimed Boston playwright Melinda Lopez in Spanish with English subtitles.
When Sonia learns of her son’s decision to leave college, enlist in the military and fight against terror in Afghanistan in the weeks following 9/11, memories of her own childhood overwhelm her. She struggles to reconcile being forced as a young girl to leave Cuba at the dawn of
Fidel Castro’s rule with her own responsibilities as a mother facing uncertainty.
Sonia must find a way to come to terms with her past, her lost parents, her own children and
her adopted country - or risk losing everything that she loves.

New York's Irish Rep Theater presents a new digital production, an abridged version of the Broadway musical Meet Me in St. Louis (1989), based on the 1944 film of the same name starring Judy Garland. In this heartwarming holiday musical, the Smith family grapples
with life changes and new love in a bustling St. Louis on the brink of the 1904 World’s Fair.
This special digital adaption includes favorite tunes “The Trolley Song”,
“The Boy Next Door”, and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".

and a daily schedule of several Events per day on its website.
The Shows Must Go On!
Fridays at 7:00 PM for 48 hours
Each weekend stream a FULL SHOW for free. Thereafter, scenes can be viewed for free.
Options for viewers to donate to organizations that support theater workers during the pandemic, such as Acting For Others, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and the
Actors Benevolent Fund. Each stream remains available for 48 hours.
