​Shakespeare Reimagined: 
Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 8:00 PM
10 Things I Hate About You is a 1999 makeover of The Taming of the Shrew. Stream and view the film, then join the live discussion with experts on film and theater on Zoom. 
Patrons are urged to register a week or more in advance so they have ample time 
to view the film before the discussion session.

The Actor's Craft:
Saturday, Feb. 6 at 4:00 PM 
Join a discussion of acting with Denis O’Hare on King Lear, a play of complex family drama, centered on a father, his relationships to his three daughters, his overwhelming need to be praised and flattered, at a time of political transition and upheaval, with issues of public and personal loyalty and betrayal.

The Young Company Winter Festival, Feb. 5-7  
Two student-acted live zoom readings for young audiences. 
Students in grades 4-9 present the classic The Phantom Tollbooth on 
Feb. 5 at 6:00 PM, and Feb 7 at 4:00 PM. A family-friendly classic for everyone!

Older students in grades 10-12 present She Kills Monsters - Virtual Realms. This action-packed adventure into the world of Dungeons and Dragons contains some mature content and language. Recommended for ages 13+.

 Huntington Theater
​Saturday, Feb. 6, 6-8 PM on WGBH Radio 89.7 FM
In Mike Lew's Tiger Style!, this hilarious comedy examines race, parenting, and success 
with wit and sharp humor. A recording of the 2016 Huntington performance, it follows squabbling siblings Albert and Jennifer Chen, who reached the pinnacle of academic achievement, but as adults, they’re epic failures. He’s just been passed up for promotion and 
she’s been dumped by her loser boyfriend. So, naturally, they confront their parents 
and launch an Asian Freedom Tour! 
The audio play will air in full on Saturday, Feb. 6, 6 -8 PM on WGBH Radio 89.7 FM

Live reading on Zoom of The Pillby Tom Horan. In the early 1950's, Margret Sanger 
is at the end of career as an activist for women’s rights. Yet throughout it all, 
she had never been able to achieve her secret hope of creating a “magic tablet” 
that would be cheap, easy, and allow a woman to turn off and on her ability to have a child. 
Sanger makes one last effort to achieve her dream.

New Rep
   Wednesday Feb. 3 at 7:00 PM 
The new Script Reading Book Club is a group that meets monthly via Zoom. February's play is The Token Fallopians of Middleton Heights by Hortense Gerardo. Attendees will be 
provided with a link to the scripts and asked to read them beforehand. 
The readings will be facilitated by New Rep dramaturgs, and attendees will be able to ask questions and speak with each script’s playwright directly.

Trinity Rep
2nd Tuesday of the month through June: Feb. 9, at 7:30 PM.
Witness new plays taking shape in Trinity Rep’s latest online series The Writer’s Room.
Each episode of the five-part series will provide an inside look at the evolution of a different project. Audiences will witness a part of this process, including discussions with 
the creative team moderated by Curt Columbus, artistic director, 
and have the opportunity to pose questions to the group. 
Feb. 9: Anna K., by Deborah Salem Smith, (Boots on the Ground, Love Alone, and Faithful Cheaters). The playwright will be joined by director Jessie Austrian and actors Rachel Christopher, Nikki Massoud, and Rachael Warren as they explore Smith’s contemporary re-imagining of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina.

Broadway Up Close Owner Tim Dolan will lead guests on a virtual tour of Alexander Hamilton’s 1700s sidewalks in the “greatest city in the world.” In addition to exploring the historical sites from the musical, guests will hear rarely heard first-hand accounts from the making of the musical as Tim was a fly on the wall for the entire creation on Broadway.

Black history month special event Upon These Shoulders  on Feb. 27.
Current Tony nominee Daniel J. Watts (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), Tony and Emmy nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton), Amber Iman (Shuffle Along...), Carly Hughes (Pippin), gospel star Bebe Winans, and more will take part in this digital concert. Using performances, interviews, and video messages from Broadway stars and arts workers, the show will highlight the history of Black artistry, magnify the work of today’s Black creatives, and shed a light on the future of Broadway and theaters across America.

The Shows Must Go On!
Fridays at 7:00 PM for 48 hours
Each weekend stream a FULL SHOW for free. Thereafter, scenes can be viewed for free. 
Options for viewers to donate to organizations that support theater workers during the pandemic, such as Acting For Others, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and the 
Actors Benevolent Fund. Each stream remains available for 48 hours.

Metropolitan Opera Nightly Opera Streams
Daily - 7:30 PM
Each day, a different encore presentation from the company’s Live in HD series is being made available for free streaming on the Met website, with each performance available for a period of 23 hours, from 7:30 p.m. EDT until 6:30 p.m. the following day. The schedule will include outstanding complete performances from the past 14 years of cinema transmissions, 
starring all of opera’s greatest singers. For example, tonight, 
Feb. 1: Gershwin's Porgy and Bess; this Friday Feb. 5: Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro
